The purpose of this study is to define co-design practices in the context of urban communities process of change, identify skills, terminology and gaps and propose recommendation for project sustainment and openess. It has three key components:

  1. Building a taxonomy of practices and behaviour for the change-making process;
  2. Mapping current ontologies (upper or not) and of core skills in co-design practice, together with the implications of any future shifts in supply and demand;
  3. Developing a communication board to ensure dialogue and sustainability for the project and for supporting future trends monitoring. The study team relied on a multi-method approach, which included literature review, data analysis, stakeholders mapping and past experiences.
